This was a project at a small academic library to replace an obsolete patron count method with an app that could be used by student workers on the library tablet. I utilized Google Forms to create the data entry portion for the student workers to record how many people where in a given area of the library at a particular time. The data could later be accessed by library staff  via Google Sheets to analyze and consider current use patterns and needs for any future adjustments to the spaces available for a particular use, i.e. quiet study, group work, study rooms, computer use, etc….
